So I wrote on here before last year sometime around may or not to sure. My fiancé and I had just our baby in April I was 14 weeks along when it happened and we were devastated. We had been ttc since that happened and we just found out a couple of weeks ago that we are pregnant. We are super excited but we are also scared at the same time. So what I am needing to know is this: I have been cramping and I have been having this discharge that looks like muddy water and twice it's had some blood in it. Is this normal or what? We have been to the er and they didn't say anything really that put our minds at ease. I am waiting to go to the doctor that we went to before the miscarriage but til we go there I wanting some input from you ladies. Thanks for listening, Desi

I had brown blood and red blood twice in this pregnancy, and had cramping as well. It was bad enough there were times I wished I could take something stronger than Tylenol. First time was around 8 weeks, and second time around 18 weeks. Midwife told me it's not uncommon around the 8 wk point, especially after miscarriage. She said our bodies do completely different things the second time around. How far along are you? I'm now at 30 weeks. So, it is possible to have those symptoms and still be OK. Best of luck, and keep us updated. Bethany

Desi, please tell me an update. Have you been to your doctor yet?
I'm sending prayers up that all is ok. I've heard that cramping and spotting can be perfectly fine. I can only imagine how scary the first pregnancy after miscarriage must be. My husband and I are going to start ttc in a few days (for the first time since our miscarriage at 15 weeks two months ago) and I'm scared to death. I want a baby of our own so bad and pray we get blessed...but have no clude how I'll hold my sanity as I go through 9 months of pregnancy always worried about what "could be".
Good luck and I'm praying for healthy babies for both of you. ...and that I get to join the healthy-preggo club soon.

Ok so here is an update I still have not been to the doctor yer but the spotting and cramping have stopped so far so I am just trying to take it as a good thing. I will be ten weeks on Friday so I am really hoping that I will see a doctor by the middle of next month. I now just get to deal with all day sickness like I have been for the last month or so. Well that's it for now I will update more later. Desi

To Sara28 I have to tell you to keep your head up. Don't give up I know that it's going to be hard at first but you will get pregnant again. You will have a baby of your own one day soon to love and to hold. Trust me there were plenty of times that I wanted to give up but my fiancé was always there holding me and reassuring that it was goin to happen. Desi

Thanks for the encouragement, Desi! I had no idea my head had room for such overwhelming fear and hope at the same time. Keep me posted on how you are doing. I"m holding strong to the hope that a miscarriage doesn't mean I'm destined to have another..or you!! I know there are so many strong women on here who have been through multiple miscarriages...and I have no idea how they have the strength...my heros. I hope your next update is more good news. Be strong as I can only imagine how tough it must be to stay positive.
Oh, and about the sickness, I had it too..all day...it is actually one of the things I miss. I guess just cause it meant I was pregnant and growing a person. ..I also miss the cup-size larger chest I had. :-) Lots of good wishes being sent your way..and our prego Bethany as well!
Its strange.. I am so jealous of my pregnant friends/relatives. I mean, I hurt at the thought of having to be around them and hearing about them. Yet, when I hear of another "stranger" from this board getting pregnant, I get so filled with hope and prayer for them...and well wishes. I feel more happiness for my "bonded-sisters" here than my relatives and childhood friends. I guess it is all part of the healing process.

Update: I ended up going to the doctor on the 17th cause we just couldn't wait til the 29th. Our nerves were getting to us pretty bad. It was the most awesome visit so far. They did an ultrasound to make sure that everything was ok and the baby was just talking away and jumping around alot. She checked to see if we could see what we are having and so far the baby is a girl and everything looks great and her heartbeat is beating at 158 and sounds really strong. Everything with me is good so now we are relieved. We are still scheuleded for the 29th and hopefully we can confrim that we are haveing a girl. Til next update.......

So we went to the doctor on the 29th of march and we are having a girl!!! They did the anatomy scan on her and everything is going great. I am doing good it's still very scary and I am having a hard time believing that we are 19 weeks along. Everytime we go to the doctor I always prepare myself for the worst but then we either hear the heartbeat or see the heartbeat and the baby and it's a sigh of relief. We are having a hard time with finding the perfect name for her. We want something that is very unique, strong, and beautiful. Tomorrow is exactly a year since I had the dnc with Kelsey so we are going to release a happy birthday balloon for her tomorrow. We are going to each write our own message to her on it. That's it for now we go back to the doctor on the 26th of April update more then.

Well it's been a while since I last updated sorry about that. So I am 31 weeks and I only have 8 more weeks til our due date. I can't believe that we are fixing to have a baby girl. We finally picked a name for our little girl and it's going to be Naveah Elizabeth-Marie. She is doing really great and she is always moving around. She has steadily been keeping her heartbeat in the 150s so that's good. We asked levis brother and his girlfriend to be her godparents and they acceapted so that's really awesome. I guess that's it for now update in a couple of weeks. Doctors appointment on Thursday still crossing our fingers.

Well ladies I'm 37 weeks and 3 days today and everything is going great. I went to the doctor on Thursday the 5th and I'm dilated 2cm but my cervics still pretty thick. I have been losing my mucus plug ever since I left the doctors office that day. I went back to the docs on Monday and I'm still at 2cm but my cervics has started to thin out. I'm being induced on the 16th and we are so excited and can't wait til Monday, wish it was Monday already. We have to be at the hospital at 7 in the morning. We want to thank everyone for all the love and prayer that y'all sent our way it really worked. Please keep us in your prayers until we have our little girl in our arms and of course afterwards. Thanks so much everyone you're awesome!! Til next week...... Desi
