Hi everybody. So . . the infamous two week wait. This time I actually started off well. I succeeded in not thinking about it obsessively for about the first week. Suddenly it occured to me that I have been having some strange symptoms. I have been smelling everything! My car smells horrible, I was very bothered by the cleaning product section at the grocery store. I even told my husband to go shower the other day. . .poor guy. Anyway. I didn't think anything of this at first, but I've also been extremely forgetful and 'ditzy' yesterday and all day today. Yesterday and today I have been particularly hungry. I also woke up completely exhausted this morning after sleeping for 8 hours. I think my nipples are sore . .maybe? I took a home pregnancy test . .I know it's early . .I'm only 13 dpo. The test was negative. I took a second one . .also negative. I know it's possible to get false negatives, but the last time I was pregnant I got a very early positive. I wonder if I am imagining all of these symptoms. I kind of feel like I'm losing it.

You are not loosing it! I did the same thing just last week. I was having weird cravings (grape jelly with crackers and cheese), smelling every smell and feeling tired. I didn't want to get too excited. I tested this past sunday (11 dpo) and got a + after 7 LONG months of trying. (I had a five month loss of twins last year). You never know....I just had another friend at 13 dpo - and 16 dpo +!
Hang in there, that 2 ww is a hard one!

Thanks Angie. I've got my fingers crossed while trying not to think about it. I've been having cravings too, but it could be all in my head.
I'm sorry to hear about your twins and congratulations on your new pregnancy! I wish you all the best for this time. I lost one baby at 4 months last April and have been trying ever since. This has been the longest 10 months ever!

Ok. So, I just tested again and got a very very faint pink line! Oh my goodness! It's the evening right now, so I think I'll test again first thing in the morning.

Congratulations Manda! how super exciting! don't be too worried if your test in the morning isn't any darker - i did about four tests over a week and the second line was always really faint, but i was definitely pregnant. (George is here now as proof!)
take care of yourself, try to rest as much as possible (the fatigue will probably be hard), try not to stress and i wouldn't over-do the exercise - if you feel you want to exercise just take it easy and do some walking or swimming. anyway, that's enough words of wisdom from me!
congratulations again sweetie, so happy for you! :-) xoxo

Manda- Congratulations! Faint pink means you are pregnant. It's probably pink because it's early but it definitely does mean you are pregnant. As my doctor told me, there is no false positive, only false negative. So take care of yourself, be happy, eat well, and relax. Wish you uneventful happy pregnancy!
Andrea- I had to go through 3 months of drawing blood, waiting for the test results and many hours spent and reception office of the doctor's. I think you are going to have some tests done. I am sure it's all going to be fine and at least if not, there is a relief in knowing the answer and coming up with the solutions. As for me, all came back fine except for my fibroid which the doctors are still not sure if it's the reason why I had the miscarriages. So I've decided to not go through the removal surgery and try to get pregnant one more time. Hopefully it will be fine. Wishing you speedy tests and results.

I did another test last night resulting in a very blue +. Today I bought a digital test because it's either "Pregnant" or "not pregnant." I am so used to the "not pregnant" that I stared in disbelief for abotu five minutes. I put it in my purse and I've taken it out to look at it at least ten times today. I am really feelign quite stunned. I didn't think this would ever happen. My son is going to be ten in April. I feel like I've been waiting 9 years for this! I just hope that I can keep this baby healthy and safe, I'm terrified, but I have a good feeling.
Andrea - you are an inspiration. Good luck with your testing. I hope everything goes well and you get some good helpful info.
Thank you to to all of you!

Manda,
Thanks for the sweet note on my blog :) I'm so happy for you, so happy! I know what it feels like to see repeated negatives and for anyone who gets that + sign...I raise my glass :) You are going to be fine, just call your Dr's office and have them get you in ASAP, for some routine blood work :) Take care of you sweet girl and we're gonna be praying for you!
Lee, Yes, I am due to go in after the arrival of AF for some testing. She wants to get FSH and some other routine level checks. All my levels have been fine in the past, as I've had many blood draws over the past 9 months :) However, I've not had FSH checked. Like you, I feel like all will be well and I'll be glad to get this past me and move forward.
As for the fibroid issue, I don't know if you know Sabrina here on the forum, but she also has a fibroid and is currently pregnant. Perhaps she can tell you more about her situation and how things are going.
I'm praying that we both follow Manda's lead and see ++++ signs real soon. I pray that for all my favorite friends :)
Much Love Andrea xoxo

Hi Andrea,
Something positive does come out of even losing a baby. Your posts are very proof of that, yes I checked out your blog. I am going to set up a Gmail so I can follow your blog.
I myself had done following tests: E2 LH FSH MIS IVF Blood Panels RPL Testing Chromosome Testing Genetic Testing SHG HSG And I had previously been tested for: Thyroid Gonorrhea Chlamydia Iron Level and so much more
Felt like a lab rat but it helped me ease my mind.

Lee,
Thank you so much for taking your precious time to list these tests. I will go in on Monday or Tuesday for blood work, mainly FSH, but plan on asking my Dr about many more tests that I'd like her to get...for my peace of mind. I truly believe my problem lies in anxiety and I'm at the point where I'm exhausted and ready to walk away and leave the rest to fate. However, I remain hopeful :)
Yes, I too feel like a lab rat...human pin cushion of sorts.
xoxo and Baby Dust to you

Hi Andrea,
I understand. I feel the same way, and I finally said no to CAD Scan day before I was supposed to get it. It just seemed so over kill and all the tests came back normal.
I cannot imagine you not being a mom one day so no worries. Like Manda, when we all get to a place where we are not incurring stress due to our losses and anxiety and find balance, may be our chances will get better. In mean time, I am becoming acrobatic by lifting my legs after TTC, and my husband and I have a nice laugh about it. I feel silly but I think it's good, at least it's making us laugh.
Good luck next week, at least you are being proactive!
