Hi all, i suffered an ectopic pregnancy on the third of dec which i had to have my right tube removed. Suffered a 'natural' miscarriage on the 11th feb and now i feel like im in soooooooo much pain its unbelievable. The pain is in my stomach, and seems to be in the side which my tube was removed.
Does anyone know if the first period after a miscarriage is painful? it was ok after my ectopic so dont really know whats going on. Have phoned the doctors and was placed on hold for half an hour!!! so may take myself up the hospital just to get checked out unless any of you ladies can offer any advice? would be really appreciated

p.s i did a pregnancy test yest and came back negative cos i just, 'felt pregnant' again. Been having alot of flutters etc in my belly (just like when i was pregnant with ectopic) it may just have been wind tho ;-/ i dont think i have the strengh to go thro another miscarriage hence me using protection from now on. Well maybe just for a month or 2 until ive healed properly xx

I am so sorry for your loss I know when I lost my baby last year my first period was very painful and the secound I bleed for 2 wks.
I know it hard to say but keep stronge and I will pray for you, I think it takes time to heal and I hope your looking after yourself and taking it easy.
