i live in Australia and yesterday it was "red nose" day which is a remembrance day for all women and families who have lost children through SIDS miscarriage or stillbirths..many women got together and released many red balloons in the sky with babies names on them..then a church service was held afterwards in the city of Melbourne...it was so sad to see so many women like us emotional together on one day...but it makes the public aware that this misfortune can happen to anyone...it bought tears to my eyes thinking of my little Ruby and wishing i was still pregnant..i think the best thing is for people to speak about this have national remembrance days and let people express themselves openly with places like this site to share emotions and experience, whether good or bad....i am three days off expecting my period nearly 8 weeks after losing Ruby and have breast tenderness i am praying i may be pregnant again but not getting hopes too high,,fingers crossed :)

I agree... What a great way to help with the healing. I would have loved to have been a part of something like that.
And my fingers are crossed for you as well! You deserve the happy ending.

thanks Andrea i really felt i was pregnant again but hopefully will happen soon...not long after i lost Ruby i went to a tarot reader for guidance..she told me i will be pregnant before August this year with a boy then will have a little girl quite close....i certainly dont live my life by what she has told me but it would be nice....has anyone else been to tarot readers and have been told anything to do with children???????...she told me i had a great soul and deserved happiness and she sees no more miscarriages ahead for me which was reassuring...well my journey continues and together with my husband grow stronger everyday

Hi fergus
I am in Australia too Wish we had a garden to mourn Yes I have a spiritual healer who has been helping me through this journey but I find it hard to be told I should be pregnant by then as I was told this last year and did not happen...so I believe i made it not happen so I do not want pressure of time to be placed on me thats what I find does not help and my relationship with my husband and I has never been so strong through everything we have been through and every day I say it gets stronger

Fergs,
I relate to your thoughts on age, as I will be turning 38 in September. Yes, age does play into the big picture, but we certainly are not out of the game by any stretch :) Here's to good news in September! My birthday is in September too!
Hugs as we journey on!

Hi Andrea September is a great month to celebrate our birthday i love spring here in Australia..lots of new life fresh air flowers everywhere...i know there are alot of older women having there first babies at this age for me it is starting again after having my two beautiful boys back when i was 23 and 25..i know from my last pregnancy which i lost i did feel alot more tired my body is no way what it use to be but i still felt healthy and fine with the pregnancy..i look at other mums alot older then myself and they have coped..i am a nurse and work in an emergency department..i see alot of women all ages coming in with miscarriage i feel i can help them more knowing i have been through it myself..but it is not just an older womens problem... i nursed a 21 year old that miscarried..my dr said its more women over 35 suffer the diabetes more and high blood pressure and tire alot easier...i just nursed a lady last night that was 45 when she had her first son he is now 5 it was lovely to meet her and hear her story she said she felt wonderful when she was pregnant but did have people looking twice at her..well i hope to fall pregnant before my birthday that would be the best present ever...:) :)

Hi Fergs
Great to hear your knowledge and experience for women of all ages...I agree we do not need pressure of age but only that if our bodies will allow us to be blessed with this gift it will happen with whatever intervention we may need but if we are in right head space and TRUST in the process..it will happen..if there is doubt.. you must do whater ever to eliminate doubt to get to the bottom x
