Hello to all just wondering if this has happened to anyone else..my period was due 3 days ago and to my surprise hasnt arrived as yet..so me being me got very excited thinking that i must be pregnant as my breasts have been very sensitive and mood swings ++++...took two pregnancy tests that came back negative :( I have never missed a period in my life...has this happened to anyone else and they have found out that they are pregnant???? little confused my body is normally like clock work..hoping for good news but i thought pregnancy home tests were 98% accurate...

After my loss, my periods became irregular, sometimes arriving as much as a week late. I would take a test, and it would come back negative.
It's sooo frustrating, I know.

Before my loss my cycle was like clockwork. It took a good 6 months before I was regular again. Every month I thought I was pregnant...it was very disappointing. Pregnancy tests are 98% when you get a positive. If the test was negative you could still be pregnant. Wait 3 days (or as long as you can) and take another one. Good luck! went to the dr today she doesnt think i am pregnant she thinks its the previous miscarriage that has made me late...she has written a pathology slip incase i dont get my period in two days..i'm 5 days late but obviously this can be quite normally after miscarriage...i miscarried on the 2/5/10 so neraly three months ago....i'm happy with what ever is sent my way just hoping that it wont be long before i'm pregnant if it isnt this time round :)

After my 1st pregnancy, I tried to get pregnant when my period started (yes, my dates were bit ofg) and got pregnant after the 1st cycle only to lose the baby with the 2nd miscarriage. Third time, I've decided to give myself a break, and waited for 3 cycles which were all bit irregular and got pregnant 4 months after my 2nd miscarriage with my 3rd pregnancy.
I am currently 17 weeks + pregnant and I've never reached so far with any of my pregnancies. Every doctor and book's opinion is different but for me, it was worth waiting couple of months, getting the accupuncture and giving my body some rest.
I am sure you will have a good news soon.

Fergs,
Sending you love and prayers as this feeling of being pregnant and hopeful and then seeing a negative is awful. It's very trying emotionally. However, never say never :) And your Dr can always get a blood test to check your HCG level.
Hang in there and keep your head up and we're gonna keep praying for your miracle :)

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IRREGULAR WHICH WAS FRUSTRATING BECAUSE I NEVER KNEW WHEN TO TEST..... ITS POSSIBLE YOU COULD BE PREGNANT AND ITS ALSO POSSIBLE THAT YOUR BODY IS STILL NOT BACK TO ITS NORM SINCE YOUR LOSS... I TOOK TESTS MANY TIMES GOT NEGATIVES AND THEN POSITIVE A WEEK LATER... HUGS AND PRAYERS TO YOU

thanks ladies for all the wishes me period did arrive 6 days late normally i'm so regular so the dr was right just my body adjusting after m/c...
